1 <br /> Proposed Pilot Program - Tennis Court Reservations <br /> Red Morton Community Park <br /> Objectives of Pilot Program <br /> 1 . To determine if tennis court reservation is needed at Red Morton Community Park . <br /> 2 . To experiment and evaluate operational methods utilized by actually conduct- <br /> ing program . <br /> Duration of Program <br /> Four consecutive Saturdays : June 12 , 19 , 26 and July 3 . <br /> Times ( 16 courts per Saturday ) <br /> 8 : 00 - 9 : 15 - 10 : 30 - 11 : 45 A . M . 1 - 1 /4 hours each reservation <br /> Cost <br /> $ 1 . 50 per court reservation ( self- supporting program ) <br /> Reservation Procedure <br /> 1 . Walk- in registration only . All reservations will be taken at Administrative <br /> Office , 1400 Roosevelt Avenue from 7 : 00 to 8 : 30 P . M . on each Wednesday evening , <br /> and from 8 : 00 A . M . to 5 : 00 P . M . on Thursday and Friday prior to the Saturday of use . <br /> 2 . Courts will be reserved on a first -come- first- serve basis . <br /> 3 . No reservations will be taken at courtside . <br /> 4 . Only persons 16 years of age and older can make court reservations . <br /> Tennis Court Reservation Policy <br /> 1 . Redwood City residents only can reserve courts . A driver ' s license must be <br /> shown for proof of residency . <br /> 2 . Only one reservation per reservation day can be made . No person shall - play <br /> consecutively , unless there are no reservations or standbys waiting for a court . <br /> 3 . No refunds after court reservations are made . <br /> 4 . Persons who reserve courts must be present at courtside (with a partner ) no later <br /> than ten minutes after their reserved time . After ten minutes the court will be <br /> given to standby players . <br /> Publicity and Promotion <br /> 1 . Flyers describing program will be distributed to court users two weekends before <br /> program starts . <br /> - 17- <br />
