t i REDWOOD CITY PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING OF MARCH 10 , 1976 The regular business meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission was called to order at 7 : 33 P . M . in Conference Room 1 at the Community Activities Building , 1400 Roosevelt Avenue , Redwood City . MEMBERS PRESENT : Commissioners Aldrich , Knecht , Rollins , Schlesinger , and Wilson MEMBERS ABSENT : Commissioners Pound and Weintraub STAFF PRESENT : Director Max C . Weeks Administrative Assistant Tom Ferrando Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini Recreation Superintendent Bill Paulson AUDIENCE PRESENT : Eric Dremann , 262A Santiago Avenue , Karen Thomas , 2602 Goodwin Avenue Ruth Kraft , 2214 Roosevelt Avenue Gi g i Obl i n , 717 Alameda Becky Francis , 3130 Wessex Way Mary Rollins , 2011 Redwood Avenue Bill Stanek , 2 Estrada Place Dianna Millikan , 531 Woodside Road . , # 213 Rick Brown , 528 Douglas Marin Aldrich , 74 Nevada MOTION : Commissioner Rollins moved to accept and approve the minutes of the February 11 , 1976 regular busi - ness meeting and the minutes of the adjourned meeting of February 19 , 1976 , seconded by Commissioner Wilson . The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . Since not all commissioners had received a copy of the announcement , Mr . Weeks briefed the Commission on the upcoming Advisory , Commissioners Work- shop . He stated that the workshop was being presented by the California Association of Park and Recreation Commissioners and Board Members Section of CPRS and being co - sponsored by the San Mateo County Parks & Recreation Commission . The session content would deal with the organization and role of commissions . Mr . Weeks asked those commissioners interested in attending to contact him to arrange reservations . Mr . Weeks indicated that the Commission had received an invitation from the Peninsula Hills Junior Women ' s Club to attend their annual Antique Show . The club had forwarded several discount tickets for the commissioners ' use .
