RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> JUNE 1976 <br /> COMMUNITY LEISURE SERVICES <br /> Summer Programs <br /> A unique experience in In -Service Training took place at Stulsaft Park <br /> for 30 playground and Day Camp leaders on Monday and Tuesday , June 14 & 15 . <br /> The highlights included an overnight camp out where Day Camp personnel <br /> prepared meals and an evening campfire program for all participating <br /> staff . <br /> During the day , all leaders prepared a variety of program activities <br /> that they would conduct for a group of 75 Roy Cloud students on Tuesday . <br /> This resulted in a great deal of " practical experience " for each leader <br /> preparing for service in either the Day Camp or playground program . <br /> Activities included : nature lore , cooking , singing , crafts , games and <br /> special events . <br /> This program was highly successful and we plan to conduct similar <br /> " experiencial " training again next year . <br /> - 12 - <br />
