u <br /> REDWOOD CITY PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> MEETING OF JUNE 9 , 1976 <br /> The regular meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission was called <br /> to order at 7 : 40 p . m . , in Conference Room 1 of the Community Activities <br /> Building , 1400 Roosevelt Avenue , Redwood City . <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT : Commissioners Knecht , Pound , Weintraub , Aldrich , <br /> Rollins , and Schlesinger <br /> ( 1 vacancy ) <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br /> STAFF PRESENT : Director Max C . Weeks <br /> Administrative Assistant Tom Ferrando <br /> Recreation Superintendent Bill Paulson <br /> Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini <br /> GAP STUDENTS : Ron Levine , Jaime Gonzalez , Mark Ambrose , <br /> Karen Bertholf , Cecile Lewis , Jan Bleile <br /> CITIZEN PRESENT : Mr . Frank F . Giannini , 1311 Gordon Street , <br /> Redwood City <br /> MOTION : Commissioner Pound moved to accept and approve <br /> the minutes of the May 12 , 1976 Regular Business <br /> Meeting , seconded by Commissioner Rollins . The <br /> motion carried by voice vote . <br /> Chairman Knecht welcomed the GAP students . <br /> CORRESPONDENCE : Letter from Isabel F . Sewell , 399 Menlo Oaks <br /> Drive , Menlo Park <br /> Mr . Weeks read the letter from Mrs . Sewell which suggested a trail <br /> connecting Stulsaft Park with the proposed Farm Hill high school site <br /> and the County trail system and said this might be part of a proposal <br /> made to the City some time ago . He believed the Commission had taken <br /> a position on the matter , but thought the Commission might wish to re - <br /> investigate the situation . Commissioner Weintraub suggested that the <br /> Open Space Committee of the Commission check back into the records to <br /> refresh the members ' memory with regard to this item . <br /> - 1 - <br />
