RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> JULY 1976 <br /> ADULT ATHLETICS <br /> Softball <br /> On the weekend of July 24- 25 , the Department hosted the Northern California <br /> State Softball Association Men ' s Slow Pitch Softball Tournament . Sixteen <br /> teams from throughout Northern California participated . On the final day , <br /> over 500 people attended the final game . One of the local teams , LeBlanc <br /> Merchants , came in second and will advance to the Regionals in Sacramento <br /> in August . <br /> Tennis <br /> On the weekend of July 10- 11 , the Department conducted a singles tourna- <br /> ment at Sequoia and at the Community Park Courts . A record number of <br /> entries of over 100 participated . <br /> - 12 - <br />
