Eight thousand (8,000) participants i <br /> enjoyed a rewardinq program this season (6,000 participated an 1975). <br /> ; <br /> The final two weeks included trips to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and <br /> 0 children artici ated in each trip. <br /> Memorial Park. Over 18 p P <br /> ,� <br /> Da Cam <br /> --�---� <br /> Day Camp also concluded a highly successful summer season on August 13. <br /> Each of the eight weekly camp sessions were filled and over 360 youngsters <br /> enjoyed this year's exciting program. <br /> Highlights of the week included a visit from the local 4-H group bringing <br /> rabbits, a goat and lamb to carnp and several evening parent campfires. <br /> Wilderness_ Camp <br /> �dilderness Carnp concluded its most productive season ever with ap�raximately <br /> 320 participants enjoying the Sam McDonald Park expereience. <br /> The last camp session in August included a "touch of folklore" with nation- <br /> ally known Richard Chase captivating campers with stories and s�n�.ys that <br /> he learned from his youth in Kentucky. <br /> Program Administration <br /> Major projects include cor�cluding and evaluating all summer programs and <br /> preparing all materials, schedules and personnel for the fall/winter <br /> sports season. <br /> -11 - <br />
