December Highlights (cont . ) <br /> December 30 - Christmas Magic Show <br /> A Christmas "Magic Show" will be presented by <br /> Wertman the Wizard at 2 p .m . in the Little Theater . <br /> Dysphasic Children ' s Program - The week of November 15th was the <br /> start of a 10 week program at Hawes Annex School for 30 Dysphasic children <br /> ages 7 through 13 years . The recreation program is on Thursdays for the <br /> younger group and Fridays for the older group . It lasts about 1 hour and <br /> the children get into many games and activities . The leader is a Thera- <br /> peutic Recreation graduate from BYU . <br /> Mentally Retarded Program - Saturday , December 4th starts a 10 week <br /> program working with 11 mentally retarded children ( ages 9 thru 15 ) from <br /> Redwood City . Activities include a trip to Coyote Point Museum , crafts , <br /> cooking , etc . Each session lasts about 2 1 /2 hours . <br /> Wheelchair Sports Program - After sending out a questionnaire to <br /> 125 handicapped persons in the area , it was decided to start a wheel <br /> chair sports program in Redwood City . A planning meeting is to be <br /> held November 29th and a follow-up will be given next month . <br /> - 12- <br />
