RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORTS . <br /> NOVEMBER 1976 <br /> CENTER OPERATIONS & SPECIAL INTEREST CLASSES <br /> The Community Activities Building and Veterans Building were both heavily <br /> utilized on weekends during November for wedding receptions and parties <br /> and both have full weekend schedules for the month of December . <br /> Red Morton Center <br /> Recreation Nights - Junior High recreation nights at Hoover and <br /> the Red Morton Center are increasing in attendance . Game room tourna- <br /> ments and structured co-ed volleyball seemed to be the most successful . <br /> Noon-Time Activities - Hoover School activities were minimum <br /> because of half-day sessions . Carroms and dart tournaments seem to <br /> be what the teens enjoy the most . Room 602 is the room designated as <br /> noontime recreation room . They enjoy having a place to gather during <br /> noon time . The room has added alot to the program . <br /> McKinley - The activities room is the place for disco music and <br /> dancing . New games are also offered and give the teens a chance to use <br /> up their energy . Demonstrations are offered on Mondays . Radio Shack <br /> offered a CB radio demonstration . So far , the format has been accepted <br /> by the students . <br /> Veterans Memorial Building <br /> November Highlights - November 11 - Senior Talent Show & Dinner <br /> One hundred and seventy- five seniors enjoyed <br /> a barbequed steak dinner cooked by Frank Russo <br /> and two hundred and fifty attended the talent <br /> show which followed in the Little Theater . <br /> This was sponsored by the Recreation Department . <br /> December Highlights - December 10 - Senior Forum Meeting & Lunch <br /> Three hundred seniors have prepurchased tickets <br /> for this annual event at the Veterans Memorial <br /> Building . Lunch will be catered with a Christ- <br /> mas Show in the Little Theater . <br /> December 10 - Pinocchio <br /> Opening of RCCT ' s Childrens Show " Pinocchio " <br /> ( runs Dec . 11 , 12 , 17 , 18 , 19 ) <br /> - 11 - <br />
