REDWOOD CITY PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> MEETING OF DECEMBER 8 , 1976 <br /> The regular meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission was called <br /> to order by Chairperson Pound at 7 : 36 p . m . , in Conference Room 1 of <br /> the Community Activities Building , 1400 Roosevelt Avenue , Redwood City . <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT : Commissioners Anderson , Buckhout , Pound , <br /> Weintraub ( 1 vacancy ) <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT : Commissioners Knecht , Schlesinger <br /> STAFF PRESENT : Director Max C . Weeks <br /> Superintendent Pasco Balzarini <br /> Superintendent Bill Paulson <br /> Administrative Assistant Tom Ferrando <br /> Marc Weiss , Planning Department <br /> CITIZEN PRESENT : Thea Vondracek , 1604 Jefferson Avenue <br /> MOTION : Commissioner Weintraub moved to accept the <br /> minutes of the November 10 , 1976 Regular <br /> Business Meeting , seconded by Commissioner <br /> Buckhout . The following correction was <br /> made to the Open Space Committee Report of <br /> November 16 , 1976 : <br /> Page 6 - Paragraph 3 : After the phrase , <br /> " additional input from the " , add : " Middle- <br /> field " . The motion carried unanimously by <br /> voice vote . <br /> Chairperson Pound indicated that the Commission had received an invi - <br /> tation to the quarterly meeting and installation dinner of the Bay Area <br /> Parks and Recreation Commissioners Council . A discussion ensued with <br /> respect to reservations . It was decided that each Commissioner would <br /> be responsible for his or her own reservations , <br /> Chairperson Pound stated that she had received the ballot for the <br /> Board of Directors of the Bay Area Parks and Recreation Commissioners <br /> Council . She inquired as to whether the Commission was allowed only <br /> one vote or whether each individual Commissioner was allowed a vote . <br /> Mr . Weeks indicated that he was not familiar with the Council bylaws , <br /> but suggested that since only one ballot had been received , it would <br /> appear that the Commission as a whole was allowed one vote . <br /> - 1 - <br />
