Weeks suggested that something might be developed in con- nection with the Bicentennial . 13 . Mrs . Poncia said she had learned that there is a model of Redwood City which had been made for the Redwood City Centennial which had been offered to the City but had not been accepted . Mr . Buickerood said one reason it had not been accepted was that the model was not to scale and the City did not have a place to store it , but thought is being given to creation of a scale model . 14. Might recreate the "Walkaround " which was done during the Centennial year . 15 . Mr . Dragan said " a Smithsonian Institution of the west " has been suggested . 16. Directory of cultural facilities and groups . Mr . Weeks said it requires a great deal of work to keep such a directory up - to -date and might not be feasible , Mr . Weeks suggested that the members give thought to the goals suggested and be prepared to select one or two at the next meeting , giving particular thought to a fall project of some kind for the downtown area - possibly one done by a traveling group of artists and craftsmen. Eventually , there might be a continuing program of entertainment and arts displays in the plaza area. Mrs Vollmayer joined the group at this time . He said the final drawings for the remodeling of the library will be ready next week and construction should begin in about a month. He re- iterated that he hopes the Commission will evolve a plan for a mural . He will bring a copy of the plan to the next meeting of the Commission0 OTHER : Mrs . Howitt reported that she had attended the concert given by the new San Carlos Symphony Orchestra and that it u = s very good .
