Doris Thompson and members of the' Civic Community <br /> Coordinating Council will handle registration of <br /> local American paintings executed before 1914 as <br /> part of the registration project of the Smithsonian <br /> Institute . Paintings should be taken to Bank of <br /> America , Jefferson and Marshall , Saturday , April 24 . <br /> There will also be an art historian there who will <br /> attempt to date the paintings . <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS : <br /> 1 . The Civic Coordinating Council meets on the first <br /> Monday of each month at The Annex . <br /> 2 . The Redwood City Port will celebrate the opening <br /> of the yachting season on April 4 . <br /> 3 .
