Opera Lunch Program - This will be coordinated with <br /> Mr . William Nemoyten , Director of the San Mateo County <br /> Arts Council . The following committee was appointed : <br /> Zelda Bergman and John Krueger . <br /> 5 . Quilting Show - Committee : Annette How i t t and Marcia <br /> Poncia . <br /> 6 . Possible Use of Circle Star Theater - Committee : Kay <br /> Mears and Nicole McKay . <br /> Mr . Weeks assured the Commission that Staff would assist with <br /> the various projects . <br /> AGENDA ITEM 3 - Calendar of Events : See Item 3 under Agenda <br /> Item 2 , above . <br /> AGENDA ITEM 4 - Conflict of Interest Code Discussion : Mr . Weeks <br /> explained that the next step was to fill out the appropriate <br /> disclosure form . He clarified the items which must be reported . <br /> The GAP students left the meeting at 9 p . m . <br /> REPORTS : <br /> 1 . Sally Hartman reported that she has been working with <br /> Kimiko Jonsson with regard to acquiring a facility to <br /> accommodate a ballet recital by a 200-plus student group <br /> from Japan . They will perform on one of two weekends : <br /> March 26 and 27 ( also date of the Miss Redwood City <br /> contest ) or April 22 and 23 . It is a Japanese government <br /> sponsored program and part of their exchange program . <br /> 2 . Alice Kennedy reported on a meeting of the California <br /> Arts Council at Villa Montalvo . The Council had met the <br /> previous day in Palo Alto with Arlen Gregorio , The agenda <br /> dealt primarily with reports on endowments which have been <br /> granted by the Council - principally to schools , where <br /> they are paying artists to work with the district . Com- <br /> munity groups can also secure the services of an artist <br /> by paying at least 0200 , the rest being subsidized by <br /> the Arts Council . <br />
