CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> July 7 , 1977 <br /> The meeting was opened at 7 ; 45 , p . m. , by Chairman Pancia , in <br /> the Conference Room at the Community Activities Building , <br /> 1400 Roosevelt Avenue , Redwood City. <br /> COMMISSIONERS PRESENT : Marcia Fonda , Chairman ; Kay Mears , <br /> Zelda Bergman , Alice Kennedy , <br /> Nicole McKay , and John Krueger <br /> COMMISSIONERS ABSENT : 1 vacancy <br /> STAFF PRESENT : Max leeks , Director of Parks & Recre - <br /> ation <br /> Sally Hartman , Recreation Supervisor <br /> Mayfred Dawson , Recording Secretary <br /> MOTION : On motion by Alice Kennedy , seconded by Kay Mears , <br /> minutes of the meeting of June 2 were approved by <br /> voice vote . <br /> CORRESPONDENCE : Announcements and communications from various <br /> sources . <br /> AGENDA ITEM 1 - Library Mural, : <br /> Mr . Weeks reported that Mr . Vollmayer had informed Miss Nixon <br /> that she was on the agenda for tonight . She replied that she <br /> was not prepared to present her concept at this meeting , but <br /> would have it ready for the August meeting . Unfortunately , <br /> there will be no August meeting , so the library mural will be <br /> scheduled for the September meeting. <br /> AGENDA ITEM 2 -- Final Review of Committee Structure : <br /> The committee assignments made at the last meeting were accept- <br /> able . <br /> REPORTS : <br /> 1 . Quilting Show : <br /> Sally Hartman reported that the show had been canceled <br /> because there were only twelve applicants . <br /> 2 . Operalunch <br /> Zelda Bergman reported that she had talked with Vince <br /> Buckhout , Chairman of the Downtown Merchants Association , <br />
