Moriguchi responded to this with his understanding that rental rates are <br /> about $10 a month higher for comparable units in low- income areas than elsewhere , <br /> and that while this isn ' t very great , it can make a lot of difference for a <br /> low-income family . <br /> Mrs . Henderson reported that she has been designated as the League of California <br /> Cities representative on the Governor ' s Intergovernmental Committee on Housing , <br /> chaired by Mr . Pinkerton . She outlined the kinds of examinations that will be <br /> made to throw light on the housing situation in the State , adding that one of the <br /> important early products will be a State-wide housing data bank . <br /> Chairman Keckley acknowledged the great asset that the Housing Concerns Committee <br /> has in this close liaison through Mrs . Henderson ' s participation . <br /> Mr .
