r <br /> GOAL II <br /> A sufficient production of new and replacement housing <br /> to insure a safe and sanitary dwelling of adequate cost for new <br /> residents anticipated under present and future growth policies . <br /> SUB-GOAL I <br /> Provide for a variety of new residential development to <br /> serve all economic groups . <br /> ACTION 1 <br /> The City would establish as a basic policy that future <br /> developers must include at least 15 -- 20 percent of new housing <br /> units for low- to-moderate income families and individuals . Fami- <br /> lies and individuals being displaced by projects carried out by <br /> the City of Redwood City will have first priority rights to units <br /> developed under this policy . <br /> ACTION 2 <br /> The City will maintain an inventory of available vacant <br /> public lands within the City limits . This inventory would include <br /> statements to the suitability of these lands for development of low- <br /> to-moderate income housing. <br /> ACTION 3 <br /> The City would support the Board of Supervisors , County <br /> staff , County agencies , committees and County policies , to further <br /> the implementation of Sub-goal 1 . <br />
