Letter Opposing an Unsubstantiated Fee Increase on Hetch Hetchy by the
Federal Government (209)
Council Member Ira Ruskin stated that his concern is that recently the Federal
budget presented an increased $8M per year Federal fee for the Hetch Hetchy
Reservoir in Yosemite National Park. As
Redwood City's representative and Chair to the Bay Area Water Supply and
Conservation Agency, Mr. Ruskin drafted a similar letter himself on April 9.
Recommendation
M/S Ruskin /Hartnett to approve Mayor writing a letter to oppose the
unsubstantiated Hetch Hetchy fee increase.
