The original <br />design was not using the electric heaters to minimize the electric energy which is more valuable than <br />the gas energy. The redesign is owner directed revision to lower the construction budget. The <br />construction savings are much higher than the redesign fee therefore the revision is cost effective. <br />Change the reversed return heating hot water system to a direct return heating hot water distribution <br />system. Revise the entry ramp configuration <br />. Revise the rear deck and railing <br />. Simplify the fin elements <br />. Indicate test pile locations and provide test pile procedures on the structural drawings. The pile <br />locations and the test pile procedure are to be provided by the geotechnical engineer. Implementation <br />of the program and evaluation of the results are to be performed by the Geotechnical Engineer. <br /> <br />Electrical/Lighting <br />. Update quantity of fixtures for site lighting <br />. Review and decrease quantity of interior fixtures - Additional time required to select and specify <br />altemate light fixtures. This item requires review and re-specifying of a number of light fixtures <br />. Review type of dimming systems in multi-purpose rooms (3 total) - This change will require redesign <br />of the dimming system together with reconfiguring of the control system <br />. Use I-Hooks in lieu of cable tray <br />. Revise quantity of motion sensors <br /> <br />Architectural <br />. Coordinate all above VE efforts with consultant team <br />.
