This includes adding and /or deleting <br /> eligible dependents. <br /> 19.1.14 Employees who elect no health plan coverage and provide evidence of <br /> other group health plan coverage during annual open enrollment, as a <br /> h lth savings /cash option, the City and the employee shall share <br /> equally the amount designated in Sections 19.1.4, 19.1.5, and 19.1.6 <br /> shall receive cash -in -lieu as follows: <br /> For calendar year 2014, the City and the employee shall share equally <br /> the amount designated in Section 19.1.4 above as the City's total <br /> maximum combined monthly contribution. <br /> For calendar year 2015, full time employees who opt out of City - <br /> provided health insurance shall receive $933.79 per month as cash -in- <br /> lieu of medical insurance coverage. <br /> Employees who opted out for calendar year 2015 and continue to opt <br /> out for calendar year 2016 shall receive $500 per month in 2016; all <br /> other emrlo ees who oIt out for calendar ear 2016 shall receive <br /> $200 per month. <br /> All employees who opt out of City - provided health insurance for <br /> calendar year 2017 and later shall receive $200 per month. <br /> 19.2 Retiree Health Benefits For employees who have ten (10) years of service with <br /> Redwood City and retire under the City's retirement plan, the retirement stipend <br /> paid by the City shall be equal to the premium paid for a current employee <br /> (employee only), for the same plan based on the Bay Area Regional pricing <br /> schedule, of which the City will pay the PEMHCA minimum employer contribution <br /> to CaIPERS and reimburse the retiree for the remaining amount. Retirees that <br /> reside in other higher priced regions will be required to pay the additional <br /> premium amount that is in excess of the Bay Area rates. MOVED FROM ABOVE <br /> 19219.3 Dental Insurance <br /> The City shall continue to provide to eligible employees and dependents fully paid <br /> dental insurance through the Delta Dental program, through the term of this <br /> agreement to include coverages as follows: $2,000 annual cap for basic coverage <br /> and $1,5002,500 lifetime cap for orthodonture. Effective upon contract ratification <br /> and Council approval of an agreement, or effective as soon after as administratively <br /> e <br /> 19.34 Savings Clause <br /> 1f, pursuant to any federal or state law which may become effective subsequent to <br /> the effective date of this MOU, the City is required to pay contributions or taxes for <br /> Page 8 of 8 <br />
