TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN 7.2.A. - Page 14 <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> SAN MATEO COUNTY FIRE IAFF LOCAL 2400 <br /> RE: SUCCESSOR MOU <br /> 19.76 Long Term Disability Insurance <br /> The City will reimburse twenty -five dollars ($25.00) per month per employee <br /> towards the cost of Long Term Disability. <br /> 5. (NEW) BOAT PILOT INCENTIVE PAY: <br /> 720 Boat Pilot Incentive <br /> Effective January 1, 2015 through June 30. 2016. City - designated Boat Pilots shall be ap id a <br /> service incentive of five percent (5%) of base salary: <br /> (a) time spent during the employee's regular assigned shift performing Boat Pilot <br /> duties, and <br /> (b) time spent during the employee's regular assigned shift in Boat Pilot training for <br /> boat operations, radar, FLIR, boat rescue procedures and boat to boat transfer. as <br /> assigned by the Fire Chief or designee, <br /> To be eligible. employees must work at least one shift per pay period in which the incentive <br /> is paid. Employees will be scheduled and paid to perform Boat Pilot duties and /or Boat <br /> Pilot training for a minimum of ten (10) hours per pay period. <br /> Boat Pilots eligible for the incentive shall not exceed twelve (12) Pilots in the department, <br /> and shall not exceed four (4) Pilots per shift. <br /> Boat Pilots must become certified in the areas designated by the Fire Chief and referenced <br /> in the Operations Manual. <br /> Captains shall not be eligible for Boat Pilot Incentive. The City and Union shall meet and <br /> confer at the end of the pilot program over terms and conditions of employment for Boat <br /> Pilots related to the Boat Program. <br /> 6. ADDITIONAL MOU CLEAN UP AND LANGUAGE CHANGES, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 2.1 Discrimination <br /> There shall be no discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, handicap <br /> disability (unless that handicap disability prevents the person from meeting the minimum <br /> standards established for the relevant classification), or legitimate employee organization <br /> activities against any employee or applicant for employment by the Union or by the City or <br /> by anyone employed by the City; and to the extent prohibited by applicable state and <br /> federal law, there shall be no discrimination because of age. <br /> Page 10 of 10 <br />
