EXHIBIT "A"
Take Charge of Your TalentT"" Program
for San Mateo Consortium
Enhancing Talent Development, Engagement, and Results
The San Mateo Consortium has embarked on a series of programs to enhance
supervisory and leadership skills. Now is a prime opportunity to engage fully the self-
motivation and initiative of managers in order to boost their performance and ground
them in a powerful model that they also can use to boost the engagement and results of
their employees.
The Take Charge of Your TalentT"' program addresses this need with a proven set of
keys that readily scales for participants to create rewarding futures for themselves and
their organizations. This program has successfully served thousands of people in
dozens of organizations (local government, non-profits, and corporations). Our proposal
outlines how we can work together to translate that opportunity into reality for the
Consortium.
Shared Hopes for the Program
■ Gain a high return on personal and organizational investment in terms of enhanced
performance, career development, talent application and satisfaction, and
knowledge assets, which yield personal and organizational benefits.
■ Help team members continuously evolve, take on new challenges as proactive
contributors to their organizations, and joyfully thrive.
■ Enable participants to power up their talent stories and take charge of their career
growth.
■ Guide participants in ways to accelerate through obstacles.
■ Multiply the payoffs for participants and their organizations through the creation of
concrete career assets and enduring organizational assets that heighten the real
and perceived value of team members to their organizations.
■ Provide a conversation model, guidelines, checklists, and other resources to help
participants advance their talent development skills.
■ Apply the skills so that participants have successful experiences to carry forward.
■ Include follow up to demonstrate successes and sustain lasting value.
ATTY/AGR/2015.010/DON MARUSKA&COMPANY
REV:O1-28-15 MLG
