7.1.A. - Page 3
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council could direct staff not to submit the HRP application for grant funds.
The City Council could direct staff to select an alternate project that meets the same
grant criteria to ensure the same grant fund award. As noted above, the City can also
revise the specified park improvements or site location in the future, by submitting a
revised application for a qualified project prior to the project's start date.
FISCAL IMPACT
The grant funds would reduce the City's general fund (CIP and Park In-Lieu Fees
Budgets) expenditures. Staff time for preparation and submittal of the grant application
and grant reporting are nominal based on the grant program guidelines.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines because it
involves an application for grant funding on behalf of the City.
7
RHONDA COFFMAN
CDBG/HOME ADMINISTRATOR
AARON AKNIN
DIRECTOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ROBERT B.
