<br /> I <br /> Scope of Services for the Design of <br /> Two Water Circulation PumfJ Stations <br /> At Redwood Shores Lagoon <br /> 2. COM's design will be based upon the Box Culvert Details (Drawing 28 of 39) and <br /> Retaining Wall Plan and Details (Drawing 29 of 39) dated February 1969, Marlin <br /> Subdivision No.1 by DMJM. CDM will not perfonn any surveying, <br /> 3. PG&E powex is available at the transformer that is located approximately 150 feet <br /> south of the South Wand Waterway, and a similar nearby power SQUIre is <br /> available at the North Inland Waterway. <br /> 4. There are no underground utilities that will have to be relocated. <br /> 5. The City will pothole to locate existing facilities, if necessary. <br /> 6. The outlets to the existing culverts will appropriately acconunodate the pump <br /> stations, and pile or other foundation supports will not be needed. <br /> 7. Both pump stations wi1lbe on City property. <br /> 8. Property line surveys, record of surveys and parcel maps will not be needed. <br /> Additional Services <br /> COM is available to perform additional services if needed. Additional services could <br /> include the following: <br /> 1. Assist the City in obtaining permits. <br /> 2. Noîse, biological or other special studies. <br /> 3. Cathodic protecl:ion. <br /> 4. Ùistrumentation, radio or similar services. <br /> 5. Lighting. <br /> 6. Additional meetings. <br /> 7. Significant changes to the design if requested by the City. <br /> 8. Preparation of more than one contract package. <br /> 9. Preparing to serve as a consultant or witness for the City in any public hearing, <br /> litigation, or other legal or administrative proceeding. <br /> Compensation <br /> Compensation for Part A and Part B will be on an hourly basis plus out-ai-pocket <br /> expenses as described on the attached Billing Rate Schedule.
