It slopes
generally toward Brewster Drive. Access to the
1 site will most likely be from Hillcrest Drive. The
1 THE SITE site is entirely within the incorporated limits of
'"'" ;. 4.2 acre site Redwood City and is surrounded on three sides by
Þ' Single family residential development unincorporated area,
;'1' Large numb~rs of heritage trees
j ~ Two reservoirs. to be removed" The work covered in this proposal is to provide a
" Surround by City and County residential ' 'ft t d d' t. t 1"
de el t mimmum 0 wo separa e an IS mc pre Imrnary
v opmen , ,
'l' sIte plans and to evaluate the ments and
B disadvantages of each. The scope of work is
. discussed in detail below, Although it was not
requested, we have included a line item to prepare
~ a "Development Feasibility Report" that will
.lJ document our findings, As stated in the cover
letter, we feel the feasibility report will pay for
] itselfby adding value to the property.

To arrive at the estimated engineering effort
required by our office for this analysis, we have
TI outlined a proposed scope of work and have
.21 estimated our man-hour allocation for each item.
A detailed discussion of our assumptions, scope of
ß,',','." work, project app, roach, schedule and man-hour
j estimate is as follows.

In preparing our scope of work, we have made the
.3 following assumptions:

1. BKF will prepare a site topography and
.,"1""',, boundary map in Autoc.A.D 2004 format.
J This document wíIl be prepared by BKF
, under separate contract.
2. The City of Redwood City will provide
,! BKF with block maps showing utilities in
3J Brewster Drive and Upland Road adjacent
to the tank site. The City will provide
".".,.,',',',1 ?lock.maps for the other adjacent streets,
i If avallable.
- 3. The City will make a determination of the
adequacy of dO\vnstream storm drain and
.~ sanitary sewer facilities in Brewster Drive
;,1 and Upland Road. BKF will not be
required to analyze the downstream
system for this study.
; 4. The City will provide information
--'" regarding the water mains in Brewster
J Drive and Upland Road, including static
and residual pressures in the mains.
,...J 5.
