Rhodes A *mw Regular Meeting The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 7 :30 p.m. with Vice Mayor Williams presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Barrett. The Invocation was led by the Reverend Lynn Hethcock, Peninsula Christian Center. Roll Call Councilmen present : Barrett, Henderson, Rhodes and Vice Mayor Williams Councilmen absent : Leipzig, Norris and Mayor Weymouth Officials and staff present : City Manager Fales, Assis- tant City Manager Smith, Deputy City Attorney Riback, City Controller Ference, City Clerk Hildebrand and Director of Public Works Pusich, Planning Director Schroeter, Director of Parks and Recreation Weeks, Police Chief Bold tatedie Approval of Minutes - January 20,1975 MOTION: Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Council- man Henderson, approval of the City Council Minutes of January 20, 1975 as submitted. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . Public Hearing - Vacation of Walkway - Vicinity of Alameda de las Pulgas and Massachusetts Avenue In response to question of Vice Mayor Williams, City Clerk Hildebrand advised that the Affidavit of Publica- tion of Notice of Hearing regarding the subject vacation of walkway is on file in her office and that no written communications on the subject have been received. Vice Mayor Williams declared open the subject public hearing at 7:34 p.m. City Manager Fales referred to his report of January 3, 1975 concerning the recommended vacation of walkway and attaching report of the Director of Public Works, dated December 17, 1974.
