33 <br /> Oral Communications (continued) <br /> Mr. O 'Connor stated that the reported allegation <br /> by a citizen that the police boat is a pleasure <br /> craft is not true, but that it is a useful, <br /> capable piece of equipment for operation as a <br /> police boat. He stated that as a former Redwood <br /> City policeman, he was involved in the initial <br /> outfitting of the boat and is well-acquainted <br /> with it. <br /> 6. Dennis Woodman, Esq. , Wellesley Crescent, suggested <br /> that since the City has established marinas and in- <br /> vited boatowners to come to the City, the Council <br /> has an obligation to police any problems which may <br /> exist in the marina areas. Mr. Woodman urged <br /> Council to reinstate the police boat . <br /> Adjournment to Executive Session - <br /> In Memory of Leland S. Borges <br /> Councilman Williams read the proposed resolution in <br /> memory of Leland S. Borges . <br /> MOTION : Resolution having been read, Councilman <br /> Williams introduced the following resolution and moved, <br /> seconded by Councilman Henderson, its adoption and <br /> adjournment to executive session for the purpose of <br /> considering matters under litigation and to consider <br /> appointments to various boards and commissions: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7424 COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF <br /> LELAND S. BORGES <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote . <br /> Mayor Weymouth announced that the Council will recon- <br /> vene solely for the purpose of adjourning. <br /> The Council adjourned to executive session at 9:20 p.m. <br /> Adjournment <br /> MOTION: Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, <br /> the Council adjourned at 10 :35 p.m. <br /> -7- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 6/9/75 <br />
