54 <br /> Request for reconveyance; Lot 65, <br /> Block B, Marlin Subdivision No . 1 <br /> City Manager Pales referred to his report of June 19, 1975 <br /> regarding the subject request, and attaching memorandum <br /> of the City Attorney of June 11 . <br /> In response to question regarding whether it is legally <br /> possible to deny the request for reconveyance, City <br /> Attorney Schricker recommended that such discussion of <br /> the matter should be made in executive session. <br /> MOTION : Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Henderson, to continue the request for reconveyance, Lot <br /> 65, Block B, Marlin Subdivision No. 1 (Redwood Shores) <br /> to executive session. <br /> Gene Masciarelli, Mobil Oil Estates, 350 Marine World <br /> Parkway, referred to maps displayed on the wall and <br /> described the history of the subject area and the ad- <br /> vantages to both the proposed development and to the <br /> public if Lot 65 is reconveyed to Mobil . <br /> In response to discussion, Mr. Pales called attention to <br /> the statements of the City Attorney in his memorandum. <br /> The motion carried by majority voice vote, Councilman <br /> Barrett voting "No. " (see pagel4 below) <br /> Plans, specifications and call for bids - <br /> television inspection system for sewers <br /> City Manager Pales referred to his report of June 20, 1975 <br /> regarding the subject television inspection system and <br /> attaching report of June 19 of the Director of Public <br /> Works . <br /> MOTION : Title havrng been read , Councilman Leipzig in- <br /> troduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Henderson, its adoption . <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7430 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF A SEWER TELE- <br /> VISION CAMERA; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br /> FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote . <br /> Report and award of bids : <br /> Downtown Street Furniture <br /> Downtown Improvement Project, Phases III and IV <br /> Marina Park restrooms <br /> Street Lighting - Redwood Shores <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of June 19, 1975 <br /> advising that bids on the subject items were to be opened <br /> on the day of the Council meeting so that it was impossible <br /> to enclose reports in Council packets . However, Mr. Pales <br /> said that in order to meet anticipated and necessary <br /> -8- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 6/23/75 <br />
