6 hI <br /> Mayor Ray A Woymouth Redwood MINUTES <br /> Vice Mayor James S Williams la CWOMV 8 <br /> �U MOM City Council <br /> Councilmen ® Of the <br /> Michacel) Barrett City of Redwood City <br /> Mary W Hendor;on Board of Supervisors Chambers <br /> Marguerite Leipzig 401 Marshall Street <br /> Robert E Norris July 7, 1975 <br /> William C Rhodes <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date <br /> at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Weymouth presiding. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Norris. <br /> The invocation was led by the Reverend Ralph Daniel, <br /> First Baptist Church. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Councilmen present : Henderson, Leipzig, Norris, Rhodes, <br /> Williams and Mayor Weymouth <br /> Councilmen absent : Barrett <br /> Officials and staff present : Assistant City Manager Smith, <br /> Assistant City Attorney Maloney, City Clerk Hildebrand <br /> and Planning Director Schroeter, Director of Parks and <br /> Recreation Weeks, Building Official Gyselbrecht, Police <br /> Chief Bold. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> MOTION: Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Council- <br /> man Leipzig, to approve the City Council Minutes of <br /> June 23, 1975 as submitted. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> Introduction and oath of office <br /> of new appointee <br /> Mayor Weymouth advised that the Reverend Ralph Daniel was <br /> unable to be present on June 23 when other new appointees <br /> were introduced and sworn and now expressed the Council' s <br /> appreciation to him for accepting appointment to a full <br /> three-year term on the Library Board commencing July 1, 1975. <br /> City Clerk Hildebrand administered the oath of office to <br /> Reverend Daniel. <br /> Mayor Weymouth thanked Reverend Daniel for his willingness <br /> to serve the City as a member of the Library Board and <br /> wished him well in his new assignment. <br /> Announcement <br /> Mayor Weymouth announced the presence in the audience of <br /> Chuck Cagney of the office of Congressman Leo Ryan, <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 7/7/75 <br />
