John D: Tehaney, Tehaney Construction Company, who has requested the extension of his Planned Development Permit, advised that financing has been a problem for developers during the past year and that other new condominiums in the area where his were planned to be constructed are not selling well now, and apartment conversions are being offered at much lower prices than would be possible with new construction. In response to question regarding the item concerning the posting of prices of motor vehicle fuels, Mr. Fales reminded Council that the posting of such prices has been required by the County and was approved for the City at the meeting of July 14, 1975. In further response, Mr. Fales and City Attorney Schricker advised that enforce- ment is not anticipated to be a problem and that failure to post the prices as required in the ordinance is a misdemeanor.
