The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Leipzig. The Invocation was led by the Reverend Larry Walter, First Congregational Church. Roll Call • Councilmen present : Barrett, Henderson, Leipzig, Rhodes, Williams and Mayor Weymouth Councilmen absent : Norris Officials and staff present : Assistant City Manager Smith, City Attorney Schricker, City Controller Ference, City Clerk Hildebrand and Director of Public Works Pusich, Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, Director of Buildings and Transportation Balsamo, Planner Schoenfeld, Fire Chief Keller Approval of Minutes MOTION: Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Council- man Leipzig, that the Minutes of August 4, 1975 be approved as submitted with the addition on page 5 of "and National League of Cities" in Minute Order No. 75-151. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote, Council- man Henderson abstaining. Proposed tax rate - GID No. 1-64 Assistant City Manager Smith referred to the Manager' s report of August 8, 1975 attaching memorandum from the City Controller regarding the tax rates for General ( Improvement District No . 1-64. Mr. Smith also called attention to the copy of a memorandum to him from the City Controller ,dated August 11 correcting an error relating to 1974-75 amounts reported for Sewer and Water Connection fees . MOTION : Titles having been read, Councilman Henderson introduced the following ordinances and moved, seconded by Councilman Williams, their approval for first reading: Reg.Mtg. 8/11/75
