105 <br /> A citizen read a newspaper article stating that a public <br /> meeting of the Sequoia Union High School Board of <br /> Trustees will take place at 8 :00 p.m. , Tuesday, <br /> August 19, 1975 in the High School Auditorium for the <br /> purpose of .receiving the report on the proposal to <br /> close one or more schools in the Sequoia Union High <br /> School District. <br /> The motion °carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO. 75-154) <br /> It was pointed out that the letter to be sent by Council <br /> should, reach the Board of Trustees before the meeting <br /> of August 19 takes place . <br /> (The Council recessed from 9:20 to 9:27 p.m. ) <br /> Consent Calendar <br /> MOTION : Title having been read, Councilman Henderson <br /> moved, seconded by Councilman Barrett, the adoption of <br /> the following ordinance : <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1642 ADDING SECTION 20. 97. 1-8 TO <br /> ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS <br /> ON INDUSTRIAL ROAD IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> The ordinance was adopted unanimously by roll call vote, <br /> Councilman Leipzig abstaining. <br /> MOTION: Title having been read, Councilman Henderson <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Barrett, adoption of the resolution and <br /> the previously approved ordinances and approval of all <br /> other items : <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7469 ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING <br /> THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES <br /> IN THE LOCALITY <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1643 AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE <br /> NO. 1622, ESTABLISHING SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR <br /> CERTAIN EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS RELATING TO <br /> MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL ASSIGNMENTS, AND <br /> CERTAIN DESIGNATED OFFICERS; TO INCLUDE THE <br /> SALARY RATE FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (approved 8/4/75) <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1644 APPROPRIATING STATED AMOUNTS <br /> FROM UNAPPROPRIATED DESIGNATED BALANCE OF VARIOUS <br /> FUNDS TO VARIOUS OTHER DESIGNATED APPROPRIATIONS <br /> FOR PAYMENT OF DIRECT SALARIES, OTHER EMPLOYEE <br /> COSTS, AND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES (approved 8/4/75) <br /> Claim: Wayne Woertendyke, Fresno; property damage <br /> allegedly caused by City-owned vehicle operator. <br /> Recommend denial and refer to insurance carrier. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO. 75-155) <br /> -7- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 8/11/75 <br />
