11- 47 <br /> MOTION Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Councilman Leipzig, <br /> to close the public hearing. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> The public hearing was closed at 7 43 p m <br /> MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Barrett introduced the <br /> following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Leipzig, <br /> its adoption <br /> RESOLUTION NO 7490 ESTABLISHING RATES AND TIME SCHEDULES <br /> FOR PARKING METER ZONES IN PUBLICLY CONTROLLED PARKING LOTS, <br /> AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7361 <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> Application for exception to certain provisions of the <br /> Subdivision Ordinance, Marlin Subdivision No. 2, <br /> Redwood Shores (Mobil Oil Estates (Redwood) Limited) <br /> City Manager Fales called attention to the material on the subject <br /> application forwarded by the Planning Department in connection <br /> with the Planning Commission consideration of the matter. <br /> MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Leipzig introduced <br /> the following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, <br /> its adoption <br /> RESOLUTION NO 7491 GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS <br /> OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY--MOBIL <br /> OIL ESTATES (REDWOOD) LIMITED <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote <br /> Application for exception to certain provisions of <br /> the Subdivision Ordinance, 1792 Valota Road <br /> (Hagan Construction Company) <br /> City Manager Fales called attention to the material on the subject <br /> application forwarded by the Planning Department in connection <br /> with the Planning Commission consideration of the matter <br /> Vice Mayor Williams reported a letter on the subject application <br /> was received today from Randall and Sylvia Collier, 1759 Kansas <br /> Street, and has been distributed to Council . <br /> In response to 'Council question as to expected plans of the de- <br /> veloper now compared to his application for a Planned Development <br /> Permit for the same property which was denied last year, Planning <br /> Director Schroeter advised that the previous application was for <br /> a Planned Development which would have allowed two single-family <br /> dwellings on separate lots to be built adjoining each other on <br /> the lot lines in order to obtain full use of yard space on each <br /> lot, while the requested application for subdivision anticipates <br /> construction of'conventionalhouses with the usual sideyards.
