Mr Fales called atten-
tion to the large map including the changes displayed in Chambers
along with the smaller map of the same area as transmitted to
Council by the Planning Commission, in order that comparisons might
be easily made.
Planning Director Schroeter reviewed the newly drawn map, observing
that some liberty had to be taken in the proposed marina area in
order to meet the Council requirements.
In response to question, Mr. Schroeter advised that a minor structure 1
is anticipated for the crossing on Shell , although he acknowledged
that according to the legend used on the map, the heavy line there
would appear to indicate a major parkway. Mr. Schroeter observed
that details would come before Council at a later date, but it is
necessary to indicate a crossing at this time.
Council members commented concerning the fact that earlier Council
discussion of the subject did not include reference to the type of
bridge and road to be constructed on Shell and that the subject would
be before Council at the time the circulation system for the area
is considered.
Mr. Fales requested that, for the record, Mr Schroeter point out
specifically the areas which are not part of the General Plan presently
-2-
Reg Mtg
• z
11/3/75
