20 1: <br /> MOTION Resolution having been read, Councilman Henderson intro- <br /> duced the following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Barrett, its adoption <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7519 COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING MARGARET <br /> BEAN ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote <br /> Public Hearing - Appeal from the decision of the <br /> Planning Commission granting a variance to <br /> The Wine Company (Harry' s Hofbrau, Appellant) <br /> City Manager Fales referred to the report of the Planning Commis- <br /> sion on the subject variance and the request of Sidney L Berlin, <br /> attorney for the appellant, that the public hearing be continued <br /> until November 24, 1975 as he cannot be present tonight. <br /> MOTION' Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, <br /> that the public hearing of the appeal from the decision of the <br /> Planning Commission granting a variance to The Wine Company be <br /> continued until November 24, 1975 <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO 75-232) <br /> (NOTE. See below - Adjournment) <br /> Southern Pacific Company - agreement relating <br /> to changes necessitated by Downtown Beautification Project <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of November 14, 1975 con- <br /> cerning proposed agreements with Southern Pacific Company, observing <br /> that he has since learned that the first agreement has been found <br /> to be in an unacceptable form and will be brought back to Council <br /> later, but that the second agreement is satisfactory and is pres- <br /> ently before Council <br /> City Attorney Schricker referred to his memorandum of November 14, <br /> 1975 to the Director of Public Works forwarding for Council con- <br /> sideration the agreement regarding mini-bus routing and driveway <br /> and withholding for further review the agreement relating to con- <br /> struction, maintenance and use of a pedestrian walkway Mr <br /> Schricker advised that the presently unacceptable agreement will <br /> be reviewed and, when satisfactory, will be brought before Council <br /> for consideration. <br /> MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Henderson introduced <br /> the following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Williams, <br /> its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION NO 7520 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> LEASE AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION <br /> COMPANY (Mini Bus Routing and Driveway) <br /> In response to question regarding the necessity of including para- <br /> graph 17, on page 4. of the agreement relating to Fireside Thrift, <br /> • <br /> -2- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 11/17/75 <br />
