� <br /> 3 n <br /> 1C <br /> MOTION: Title having been read, Councilman Henderson <br /> { introduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> ` by Councilman Rhodes, its adoption : <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7369 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ,.,,,, <br /> REDWOOD CITY EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO EDWARD F. <br /> LOPES UPON HIS RETIREMENT <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> Mayor Weymouth advised Mr. Lopes that the resolution <br /> will be prepared on parchment with the City seal and <br /> framed as a remembrance from the Council of their appre- <br /> ciation of his contribution to the City. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> MOTION: Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Rhodes, approval of the minutes of the Executive Session <br /> and the City Council meetings of February 24+, 1975 as <br /> submitted. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> "Outstanding Citizen Award" - <br /> Mayor Ray A. Weymouth <br /> On behalf of the members of the City Council, Councilman •.*, <br /> Henderson congratulated Mayor Weymouth upon his being <br /> selected the City' s "Outstanding Citizen ' for his ser- <br /> vices to the City since moving here thirty years ago. <br /> Councilman Henderson expressed the regret of other <br /> Council members that their attendance at the National <br /> League of Cities Conference prevented their being pres- <br /> ent at the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of <br /> Commerce banquet when the award was presented. Council- <br /> man Henderson reported the agreement of Council members <br /> with the selection by the panel of judges responsible <br /> for choosing the recipient of the "Outstanding Citizen <br /> Award" sponsored by the American Legion and the "Redwood <br /> City Tribune .
