311 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7370 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF SPECIAL <br /> MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 4, 1975 <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, pursuant <br /> IMO to Resolution No. 7322, adopted December 9, 1974, as amended by <br /> Resolution No. 7335, adopted January 6, 1975, submitted to the <br /> electors of the City of Redwood City certain proposed amendments <br /> to the Charter of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> '� WHEREAS, said Special Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, - <br /> March 4, 1975, in accordance with law, and the votes thereat <br /> received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, <br /> determined and declared in all respects as required by law; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and <br /> is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br /> this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br /> 2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at said <br /> rood Special Municipal Election was 8813 votes. <br /> 3. That at said election the following propositions, and <br /> each of them, were submitted to the electors of said City and <br /> that the number of votes given in said City for and against each <br /> of said propositions (including absentee votes) was as follows: <br /> Total Vote Total Vote <br /> "YES" "NO" <br /> PROPOSITION K: Shall Section 3-1/2 3814 4125 <br /> of the Charter of the <br /> • <br /> City of Redwood City be amended to <br /> permit sale of City property appraised <br /> at $1,000.00 or less without public <br /> notice or bid; and sale of such personal <br /> property at public auction without <br /> reserve for less than 90 per cent of <br /> it appraised value? <br /> PROPOSITION L: Shall Sections 8, 69, 3609 4162 <br /> and 76 of the Charter <br /> of the City of Redwood City be amended <br /> to provide one year residency require- <br /> ment for City elective office; delete <br /> certain provisions in City contracts; <br /> and delete citizenship requirement <br /> for officers and employees? <br /> f., PROPOSITION M: Shall Section 9 of the 2718 5021 <br /> Charter of the City of <br /> Redwood City be amended to provide that <br /> err Councilmen shall receive as compensa- <br /> tion $250.00 per month? <br /> -3- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 3/10/75 <br />
