Ritchie, applicant hearing is continued open from September 28, <br /> (continued from 9/28/81) 1981. <br /> Director of Public Works Addiego commented <br /> and responded to questions by Council, and <br /> discussion related to the apparent conflict <br /> of this section of the Code with the Zoning <br /> Ordinance with regard to requirements for <br /> off-street parking; the fact that the <br /> conversion of the garage to living quarters <br /> occurred many years ago before the present <br /> owner acquired the property and prior to <br /> adoption of the current ordinances; that the <br /> Council has the discretion to make a judgment <br /> based on a practical basis for each <br /> individual situation of this kind; that this <br /> particular neighborhood has several <br /> properties with driveway approaches that do <br /> no lead to a garage or carport. Mr. Addiego <br /> noted another factor to be considered was the <br /> need for sufficient distance between <br /> driveways. <br /> Discussion continued regarding the <br /> desirability of providing off street parking; <br /> the fact that there is no driveway opposite <br /> the location of the proposed curb cut and the <br /> w.wlr <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 10/5/81 <br />
