Les Milbourn, 3902 Jefferson Avenue, <br /> inquired as to any action taken since he <br /> presented the petition on October 26, 1981 <br /> requesting a flashing red light at the <br /> intersection of Jefferson Avenue and <br /> Lakeview. <br /> Director of Public Works Addiego reported <br /> that a field inspection of the five-leg <br /> intersection was made and that four legs are <br /> pow <br /> in the County, stating, however, that since <br /> the petition was presented to the City, his <br /> department will pursue with the County the <br /> br matter of making the intersection safer. <br /> Mr. Addiego said that Mr. Milbourn will be <br /> advised when report is made to Council in <br /> accordance with staff direction of October <br /> 26. <br /> City Manager Fales stated that three related <br /> assignments involving the subject <br /> intersection, speed on Emerald Hill Road and <br /> traffic problems at Emerald Hill Road and <br /> Jefferson Avenue have been made to the <br /> Public Works Department and a report is <br /> being prepared. <br /> ADJOURNMENT ADJOURNMENT <br /> M/S: Bury/Chandler to adjourn <br /> Carried unanimously and Council adjourned at <br /> 8:55 p.m. <br /> JACQUELINE C.
