Councilman Chandler referred to the memorandum of June 12, 1981 from the City Clerk <br /> regarding AB 1795 (Baker) and ACA No. 35 (N. Waters) and asked that the Legislative <br /> Committee consider both bills. <br /> Councilman Bury requested that the Legislative Committee also consider the request for <br /> support in opposing AB 112 (Lockyer) received from the City of San Bernardino. <br /> Vice Mayor Stangel suggested the May 1981 report of COLAB (Coalition of Labor and <br /> Business in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties) regarding the 1981 Supreme Court <br /> Decision in Sierra Club v. City of Hayward relating to the Williamson Act be referred <br /> to the Legislative Committee. <br /> Vice Mayor Stangel, Chairman of the Legislative Committee, called the next meeting for <br /> 7:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 1981 in the <br /> City Attorney's office. (Memo 6/16/81) <br /> 2. Councilman Leipzig reported that the June 14, 1981 issue of the San Francisco <br /> Chronicle states that many Bay Area jurisdictions do not belong to the Association of <br /> Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and that ABAG will check grants of non-members for a fee. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> M/S: Stangel/Chandler to adjourn. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote and Council adjourned at 8:07 p.m. <br /> • <br /> JACQUELINE C.
