ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4.15, 4.17, ORDINANCE approved for first reading <br /> 4.18, 4.19, 4.21, AND 4.24 OF, ADDING <br /> SECTIONS 4.22, 4.25, 4.26 AND 4.27 TO, <br /> AND REPEALING SECTION 4.22 OF, THE CODE <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br /> THE REGULATION OF PUBLIC DANCES IN <br /> REDWOOD CITY unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> Mayor Biagi then declared that the items e. <br /> and f. relating to Fire Inspection permits will <br /> be considered together at this time. <br /> City Manager Fales stated for the record that <br /> the basis for the recommendation of a fire pre- <br /> vention permit fee schedule is so that the City <br /> can recover some of the cost of fire inspection. <br /> He noted that the amendment to the State Con- <br /> stitution enacted by Proposition 4 requires <br /> governments to evaluate services and charge <br /> users accordingly. Mr. Fales advised that per- <br /> { mits are already required by the Uniform Fire <br /> Code for the purpose of more effective control <br /> over hazardous conditions. Mr. Fales stated <br /> the permit system is required under the Uniform <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 7/7/80 <br /> Page 5 <br />
