E. A. Archibald, 520 Buckeye, urged adop- <br /> tion of an ordinance against making ex- <br /> cessive noise, citing a continuous humming <br /> sound emanating from Diamond Shamrock. Mr. <br /> Archibald also objected to ambulance <br /> drivers using sirens in crowded inter- <br /> sections where traffic is not moving. <br /> Mayor Rhodes offered to convey Mr. <br /> Archibald's remarks to those concerned. <br /> GENERAL <br /> 1. Mayor Rhodes referred to a letter he re- <br /> ceived from the U. S. Consumer Product <br /> Safety Commission relating to regulations <br /> affecting use of refuse bins. There <br /> being no objection, the letter was referred <br /> to staff for consideration. (memo 2/5/80) <br /> 2.
