Rockwell, 2682 Eaton Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing
Avenue reported on file.
Planning Director Schroeter explained that the
application for a garage extension was granted
since a five-foot sideyard setback already
existed with the present garage and the seven-
foot requirement would have caused a jog in an
already existing building and serve no purpose.
The appeal is of the denial of a variance for
new construction of an additon.
In response to questions, Mr. Schroeter advised
that the zoning of the subject property was
changed from "R-1" (Residential-Single Family)
District to "R-H" (Residential - Single-Family
Hillside) District in 1964. Mr. Schroeter ad-
vised the "RH" designation was applied to large
lots as well as to those in the hills in order
and
Reg.Mtg.
9/15/80
1
