Report re collection of bail for parking Report of City Manager 10/30/80 <br /> violations Report of Director of Finance 10/29/80 <br /> In response to question, Director of Finance <br /> advised that one full-time clerk will be re- <br /> quired in Cash Management to handle collection <br /> of bail for parking violations; an arrangement <br /> is being worked on with Wells Fargo Bank for <br /> a pay station; and a lockbox with cash going <br /> directly to the bank is also being considered. <br /> For the purpose of making a motion, Mayor <br /> Biagi asked Vice Mayor Stangel to take the <br /> chair. <br /> M/S: Biagi/Leipzig that staff be authorized <br /> to negotiate an agreement with San Mateo <br /> County whereby the collection of bail for <br /> current parking violations will be transferred <br /> to the City, while the Southern Judicial Dis- <br /> trict retains the responsibility for the <br /> collection of delinquent parking fines. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 80-173 <br /> 10. Description of duties and responsibilities - Report of City Manager 10/31/80 <br /> Citizen Participation Committee <br /> (Housing Rehabilitation) M/S: Bury/Britschgi to accept the description <br /> of duties for the Citizen Participation Com- <br /> mittee (Housing Rehabilitation) contained in <br /> the Report of the City Manager of October 31, <br /> 1980, as follows: <br /> a. the Committee shall provide a means by <br /> which ideas and concerns relative to the <br /> housing rehabilitation program may be com- <br /> municated from the residents of the <br /> Middlefield Housing Conservation Area and <br /> the East Redwood City Target Area to the <br /> City housing staff and the City Council, <br /> and shall advise the housing staff and City <br /> Council regarding desirable revisions to <br /> the housing rehabilitation program; <br /> b. the Committee shall be responsible for <br /> assisting in the dissemination of infor- <br /> mation regarding the housing rehabilitation <br /> program to the residents of the Middlefield <br /> Housing Conservation Area and the East <br /> Redwood City Target Area; <br /> c. the Committee may make recommendations re- <br /> garding the utilization of qualified local <br /> or minority contractors.
