Councilman Britschgi referred to the recent special City Cleanup garbage <br /> collection, requesting that Council be allowed to review the advertising campaign <br /> prior to the anticipated Spring Cleanup. <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his information report of November 7 attaching <br /> a report from the Director of Finance of the same date reporting on the success <br /> of the October 20-24 Cleanup and advising that it is planned to coordinate the <br /> Spring Cleanup with the Statewide Cleanup Week to be held in April 1981, noting <br /> that inserts in the bimonthly utility bills mailed during February and March <br /> will be used. <br /> Discussion followed concerning the favorable correspondence received from many <br /> citizens about the Cleanup, the quantity of material picked up in the special <br /> collection, and means of encouraging full participation of all residents in the <br /> Spring Cleanup. <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 11/10/80 <br /> rm' Page 3 <br />
