Jefferson Avenue Reconstruction Report of City Manager 3/13/80 <br /> Report of Director of Public Works 3/11/80 <br /> In response to questions, City Manager Fales <br /> and City Attorney Schricker advised that no <br /> property acquisition is involved as construc- <br /> tion will be entirely within the City <br /> right-of-way. <br /> Tom Vance, 425 Palomar, asked if designation omit <br /> of a bike lane automatically means that the <br /> lane cannot also be used for parking. Mr. Fales <br /> explained that use of the same lane for both a �+ <br /> bicycle path and parking is extremely dangerous, <br /> observing that when residents were encouraged <br /> to comment on the establishment of bike lanes, <br /> they invariably opposed them, if any parking <br /> had to be eliminated. <br /> M/S: Biagi/Bury to accept the Report of the <br /> City Manager of March 13, 1980 relating to <br /> Jefferson Avenue reconstruction and to approve <br /> "Plan A" described in the report of the <br /> Director of Public Works of March 11, 1980. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO. 80-35) <br /> 5.
