Presentation of retirement resolution to Mayor Rhodes read RESOLUTION NO. 8536 and pre- <br /> James Serra, retiring after 29 years in sented a framed parchment copy to Mr. Serra, <br /> the Fire Department wishing him a long and happy retirement. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 8536 COMMENDING AND CON- Mr. Serra introduced members of his family and <br /> GRATULATING JAMES SERRA UPON THE OCCASION said he had enjoyed his years with the City, <br /> OF HIS RETIREMENT (adopted 3/17/80) saying it was a privilege to serve this <br /> community. <br /> 2. Public Hearing - Appeal of Zoning Admini- Zoning Administrator record transmitted 3/17/80 It..ri <br /> strator decision granting Architectural Appeal letter of 3/14/80 signed by Bonnie <br /> Permit 80-14 relating to landscaping - Hawley, Sybil Stockford, Olive Mayer <br /> Woodhill Subdivision <br /> Mayor Rhodes declared open 7:35 p.m. <br /> Olive Mayer, 245 Josslyn Lane, Woodside, advised <br /> she is speaking for Bonnie Hawley, a Redwood <br /> City resident and one of the authors of the <br /> appeal letter. Mrs. Mayer stated that the <br /> Architectural Permit granted to the developer <br /> of Woodhill Subdivision will permit gates in <br /> the back fences of individual lots which might <br /> encourage access to the area between the pri- <br /> vate property and the fenced off fritilleria <br /> preservation area by children playing, dogs, <br /> bikes, etc which may endanger the plant, in <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 3/24/80 <br /> ltd <br />
