Prevailing Wage, Local Hire, and Apprenticeship Program Participation
The ability to provide prevailing wage employment and promote local hiring is an important component of
enhancing opportunities for the City's residents.Local hiring helps the community by reinvestment of tax dol-
lars, reducing environmental impacts from commuting, promoting community involvement, and preserving local
employment opportunities in construction.A Community Benefits program can offer incentives for developers
who meet requirements for local hires, prevailing wages, and apprentice program participation.
