,^"� � <br /> � <br /> SECTION 4 SERVICE AREA AND LINE EXTENSION POLICY <br /> 4.1 Franchise and Service Area <br /> The Grantee's Franchise and Service Areas shall be the entire area of the <br /> City of Redwood City, including any and all territory immediately adjoining this <br /> area as may be annexed thereto, during the term of this Agreement. The <br /> Grantee shall offer the full range of residential Cable Services to all residents of <br /> the Franchise and Service Area, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.2 <br /> below. <br /> 4.2 Provision of Service <br /> The Grantee shall provide residential Cable Service at standard <br /> installation charges, provided that the residential unit is within one hundred <br /> twenty five (125) feet for aerial and underground installations from the nearest <br /> distribution cable of the Grantee's System. In the event a request is made for <br /> service by a resident in an area not meeting such criteria, the Grantee may <br /> charge an installation fee equal to Grantee's cost of time and materials plus <br /> customary overhead for the incremental portion of the installation beyond the <br /> footage limitation established above. <br /> 4.3 Line Extension Policy <br /> Within the boundaries of the Service Area, Grantee shall extend service <br /> upon request to any person or business not meeting the requirements of Section <br /> 4.2 above, on a time and materials and overhead basis. If the Grantee <br /> demonstrates to the Grantor's satisfaction that extraordinary circumstances <br /> justify a waiver of this requirement, the Grantor may consent to such a waiver. <br /> For the purposes of this Section, "extraordinary circumstances" may include (i) <br /> 26 <br /> sh/RWC/Council <br /> AGMT-382 <br /> FXS/fs <br /> 08/02/00 <br />
