If this Agreement is not adopted by all twenty <br /> Cities, it will become null and void in its entirely except that in such an <br /> event, the County and any of the cities which are in agreement with the <br /> terms and conditions of this Agreement may use it as the grounds for <br /> considering an Agreement which may be acceptable to those parties. <br /> 5.17 Electronic Signature. All Parties agree that this Agreement and future <br /> documents relating to this Agreement may be digitally signed in <br /> accordance with California law and the County's Electronic Signature <br /> Administrative Memo and the Parties understand and agree that <br /> electronic signatures shall be deemed as effective as an original <br /> signature. <br /> 5.18 Counterparts. The Parties may execute this Agreement in one or more <br /> counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which <br /> together shall be deemed one and the same instrument. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San <br /> Mateo has authorized and directed the Health System Chief to execute this <br /> Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo.
