EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant to conduct a peer review of the Historic Resource Report on the Veteran's <br /> Memorial Building at 1455 Madison Avenue canducted by Diane Painter, dated <br /> September 2010. The report found that the building is eligible for listing on the Califomia <br /> Register of Historical Resources under Criterion 1 for its association with World War II <br /> living memorials, and Criterion 3, for being designed by master architect Birge Clark as <br /> a unique and yet a good example of his work. This scope does not include Consultant <br /> attending any meetings or hearings, or providing any other services. The fee for the <br /> peer review is $2,500.00 <br /> The evaluation will consist of the following: <br /> 1. A site visit <br /> 2. Review of the Historic Resource Report <br /> 3. Limited archival research, analysis, and evaluation of the Veteran's Memorial <br /> Building under the criteria of the California Register of Historical Resources <br /> 4.
