entitlements granted by the City. Subsequently, the Property on which the Signs are located <br /> was dedicated to the City. The Signs remained there in use these many years. The Sign faces <br /> are reader boards which allow for periodic changes in the Sign message. Having been installed <br /> in compliance with City law at the time and having remained in use without expansion, the <br /> subject Signs fall within the referenced exemption from a sign permit. <br /> D. A revocable encroachment permit is required for the continued operation and <br /> maintenance of the exempt Signs because they are located on the City's public right-of-way. <br /> PERMIT <br /> This Revocable Encroachment Permit is granted, subject to the following terms and <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. Scope of Revocable Permit. City grants a non-exclusive Permit to Permittee for <br /> the purpose of operating and maintaining the Signs identified in Exhibits "A° and "B", subject to <br /> the terms and conditions herein stated. Nofinrithstanding the foregoing, this Permit does not <br /> constitute a deed, grant of easement, lease, conveyance, or transfer of any property interest, <br /> and is revocable without cause at any time by the City Manager, effective upon giving not less <br /> than forty-five (45) days' prior written notice of such revocation addressed to Permittee at the <br /> address set forth herein and mailed or delivered to Permittee at said address. <br /> , 2. Sign Components; Maintenance: No Expansion or ChanQe. <br /> (a) The current Signs and associated components installed within the pe�mit area <br /> consist of two (2) outdoor reader board message Signs with one located on Redwood Shores <br /> Parkway and one on Marine Parkway, posts, concrete footings, electrical pull boxes, and <br /> underground conduits. The Signs shall not be expanded in size and shall not be electronic <br /> message signs. The City acknowledges that replacing the Signs with the precise dimensions of <br /> the existing Signs may be challenging and therefore, subject to approval of the City, the Signs <br /> may be reasonably approximate to existing size of the Signs and may have messages on both <br /> S:ATTY/PERMIT2015.001/REVOCABLE REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION <br /> REV:04-10-15 PT <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
